Arizona Cardinals Tickets

The Arizona Cardinals has a very colorful history, dating back to 1898. The team is the oldest continuously run professional football franchise in the United States. Originally named Morgan Athletic Club, the team we know today was also once known as the Normals, Racine Cardinals, Chicago Cardinals, St. Louis Cardinals and Phoenix Cardinals, before settling with the name Arizona Cardinals in 1994.

Winning the Cardinals’ first NFL championship in 1925 (beating the Pottsville Maroons by default) and again in 1947 (against the Philadelphia Eagles 28-21) has been the best record the team has yet. Who can forget that very memorable game in 1929, which earned superstar running back Ernie Nevers an NFL record that still stands today and an instant spot for a hall-of-fame when he scored all 40 points in a 40-6 win over the Chicago Bears.

Unfortunately, the Arizona Cardinals experience a massive 15-year drought. But in 1998, the Cardinals regained the team’s status by achieving a postseason victory. It was only in 2007 did Arizona Cardinals finish the season with 8 wins and 8 losses, a first-time record since 1998 that could very well be a sign that things are looking up for the team. With powerful talents like former NFL MVP Kurt Wagner and former Heisman Trophy Award winner Matt Leinart to step up as quarterback, both aiming to have a breakout year this season, this could be an exciting year.

Is 2008 the year of the Cardinals? Both fans and sports experts think they’re ready for the limelight. Get your Arizona Cardinals tickets early! You’ll never know… You may just experience history in the making in the desert!
